Product Overview
The MOEORW-WEH08 automatic potentiometric titrator is designed for quantitative determination of total acid number (TAN) of petroleum-based samples. The device collects real-time electrode potential signals and titrant consumption data during titration, smooths titration curves and calibrates equivalence points via built-in algorithms to deliver stable, repeatable measurement outputs. Integrated automatic fluid delivery and cleaning modules reduce manual operation intervention, and the three-electrode high-impedance sensing system supports analysis of both light and dark oil samples without chemical indicators. The instrument adopts low-power single-chip microcomputer architecture and complies with domestic petroleum test standards, applicable to laboratory and industrial batch testing scenarios.
Working Principle
This tester operates on potentiometric titration methodology. The three-electrode assembly continuously captures potential variations as standard titrant is dispensed into the sample solution. The built-in microcontroller records electrode potential values and corresponding titrant volumes throughout the reaction process. Digital smoothing algorithms optimize raw titration curves, while equivalence point correction logic eliminates measurement deviations caused by complex petroleum matrixes. The system calculates the sample total acid number based on the standardized titrant volume consumed at the identified equivalence point.
