Product Introduction
The kinematic viscosity tester conforms to GB/T265-1988 "Determination of Kinematic Viscosity and Calculation of Dynamic Viscosity of Petroleum Products". It is suitable for determining the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (Newtonian fluids). The method refers to measuring the time it takes for a certain volume of liquid to flow under gravity through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer at a constant temperature. The product of the capillary constant of the viscometer and the flow time is the kinematic viscosity of the liquid at that temperature (the product of the kinematic viscosity at that temperature and the density of the liquid at the same temperature is the dynamic viscosity of the liquid at that temperature).
This kinematic viscosity tester employs advanced fuzzy PID temperature control technology, ensuring precise temperature control with an accuracy of ± 0.02℃ . It allows setting multiple national standard temperature control points, including 20 ℃ , 40 ℃ , 50 ℃ , 80 ℃ , and 100 ℃, and can also be set to any temperature (the set temperature must be higher than room temperature). The set temperature resolution is 0.1℃, and it can be used as a general constant temperature water bath.
The kinematic viscosity meter can simultaneously use four glass capillary viscometers to measure kinematic viscosity at the same isothermal temperature. Each viscometer can be used to perform four measurements as a set of test data. The instrument automatically removes timing results that do not meet the tolerance according to national standard methods, and takes the average of the other timing values that meet the tolerance to calculate and obtain the kinematic viscosity value of the set of tests. When precise measurement results are not required (often to roughly observe the approximate kinematic viscosity value of an unknown sample), the number of timings can be set to a smaller value, such as 1, 2, or 3 times. This allows for obtaining an approximate kinematic viscosity value of the test sample in a shorter time. Subsequently, the number of timings can be changed to 4 times to obtain the final kinematic viscosity value of the test sample strictly according to national standard methods.
The kinematic viscosity meter uses high-definition color touch screen technology, with a rich and clear interface and fast and flexible touch screen response; it uses a large-capacity storage chip, which can save up to 2000 measurement results; it uses a panel-mounted thermal printer, which automatically and quickly prints the measurement results and information such as sample number, measurement time, viscometer constant, tube diameter, and kinematic viscosity value after the measurement is completed.
