FAQ

1)What are the features of the operating interface for the MEBT-WII Intelligent No-Load/Load Loss Tester for Transformers?

Answer: This tester features a large-screen true-color LCD display with fully English menus and operation prompts, enabling user-friendly interaction. The interface includes a main menu and 12 sub-function screens for parameter settings, three-phase short-circuit/no-load measurements, test results, and record queries, supporting multi-parameter display on a single screen. It features a conductive rubber keyboard with clearly labeled functions and F1-F5 auxiliary shortcut keys for simple, efficient operation. The high-brightness display adapts to both winter and summer environments.

2)What follow-up operations can be performed on test data after completing measurements with the MEBT-WII Intelligent Transformer No-Load/Load Loss Tester?

Answer: After testing, users can save results as records via the "Store" key for future reference. The "Query" key allows browsing stored records with page navigation for adjacent entries. Test data or historical records can be printed directly via the microprinter (press F4). Additionally, in the record query interface, the F5 key enables uploading of the current test record, while the F3 key deletes unwanted records.

3)What are the key precautions when performing short-circuit tests using the MEBT-WII Intelligent Transformer No-Load/Load Loss Tester?

Answer: Core precautions include: 1. Ensure the non-voltage-applied side is properly shorted; otherwise, test data accuracy will be compromised. 2. If ring-type current transformers are installed on the high-voltage or medium-voltage bushing terminals, short the secondary side of the current transformers before testing. 3. Testing must be conducted with the circuit grounded to prevent electric shock from induced voltages. All shorting, grounding, and lead wires must have sufficient cross-sectional area and be securely connected; 4. Avoid contact with the metal parts of test leads during measurement to prevent electric shock; 5. Strictly follow the manual for wiring and never operate beyond voltage or current limits.
