Description

Fully Automatic SF6 Density Relay Calibrator

Product Introduction

SF6 switches are high-voltage electrical apparatus widely employed in power systems, and their reliable operation has become one of the foremost concerns for power supply and distribution departments. The SF6 gas density relay serves as a critical component for monitoring changes in the SF6 gas density within the switch body during operation, with its performance directly impacting the operational safety of the SF6 switch. SF6 gas density relays in field operation, due to infrequent actuation, often exhibit reduced responsiveness and poor contact performance after prolonged periods. Some may also experience degraded temperature compensation capabilities, frequently leading to false tripping when subjected to sudden ambient temperature changes. Consequently, DL/T596-1996 'Preventive Testing Regulations for Power Equipment' stipulates that all SF6 switch operating units must periodically calibrate SF6 gas density relays. Practical operational experience further underscores the necessity of regular calibration for SF6 density relays and pressure gauges in field service.

Product feature and application

1. The density relay calibrator employs a 32-bit microprocessor and TI's high-speed signal processing chip for detection and control, achieving high integration. Its mechatronic design ensures high precision, excellent repeatability, and superior reliability.

2. Equipped with a large-screen Chinese LCD display and rotary mouse (single-button flywheel) human-machine interface, it offers simple operation and an aesthetically pleasing interface, with all parameters and statuses clearly visible at a glance.

3. Automatically performs pressure measurement and 20°C value conversion, thereby achieving dynamic automatic compensation between pressure and temperature. Displays pressure at the ambient temperature of the test environment, pressure at 20°C for the ambient temperature, and the ambient temperature itself. This comprehensively resolves the challenges associated with on-site calibration of SF6 gas density relays.

4. All testing processes are automatically executed by the instrument without manual intervention, eliminating the need for cumbersome manual gas circuit adjustments.

5. Prints test results in Chinese character report format with intelligent analysis of test outcomes.

6. Stores up to 50 sets of test results simultaneously, featuring power failure data protection. Past test results can be queried and printed at any time.

7. Calibration requires no temperature-controlled chamber, enabling testing of SF6 gas density relays and pressure gauges across any valid temperature range.

8. Supplied with multiple transition adaptor models, allowing on-site calibration of density relays for most switch types without disassembly.

9. Minimal gas consumption during calibration prevents SF6 wastage, ensuring low testing costs and zero environmental pollution.

10. Features online system clock adjustment functionality.

11. Capable of online system pressure adjustment for field corrections.

12. Core components utilise imported parts for reliable performance.

13. Simultaneously tests one set of alarm signals and two sets of interlock signals.

14. This portable tool offers convenient and dependable operation, representing the optimal choice for SF6 density relay calibration.

15. Incorporates a high-capacity rechargeable lithium battery enabling 8 hours of continuous operation with a charging time under 4 hours.

FAQ

1)What are the fundamental principles of calibrating SF6 density relays?

The gas pressure within a sealed container varies with temperature. The relative pressure value of SF6 at 20°C is typically used as the standard reference. During on-site calibration, all SF6 pressure readings measured at a given ambient temperature must be converted to their equivalent pressure values at 20°C to assess the performance of density relays.

2)What are the functions of an SF6 density relay?

(1) Calibration of SF6 Density Relay
Lockout reset value calibration, alarm reset value calibration, alarm value calibration, lockout value calibration, single signal, single lockout, dual lockout
(2) Calibration of Ambient Temperature Pressure Gauge
(3) Calibration of 20°C Pressure Gauge

3)What are the precautions for the fully automatic SF6 density relay calibrator?

1. When performing on-site calibration of SF6 gas density relays, disconnect the power supply connected to the density relay to prevent damage to the calibrator.
2. Before heading to the site, bring the toolbox. First check the nitrogen gas reserve in the small cylinder inside the toolbox, and bring all transition connectors and tools required for switching operations.
3. Disconnect the corresponding alarm signal wires and interlock signal wires from the terminal block to prevent secondary circuits from forming loops with these signal wires, which could affect testing.
4. The density relay under calibration must be placed upright, not flat, to ensure accurate calibration results.
5. Avoid excessive vibration during the calibration process of the density relay.
6. Follow these guidelines when using gas cylinders.
