This SF6 Density Relay Calibrator is an intelligent instrument designed for verifying SF6 density relays. Equipped with an embedded microprocessor, it performs performance calibration on various SF6 density relays and provides standard conversion of SF6 gas pressure at any ambient temperature. What are the preparatory steps before the experiment?

Answer:
(1) Check the instrument battery charge level. If <30%, recharge promptly.
(2) Inspect the filter connectors to ensure completeness.
(3) Check the gas pressure in the storage cylinder. If insufficient, recharge it with SF6 or N2 gas, ensuring the filling pressure ≤1.5MPa.

How should the storage cylinder be filled? What is the appropriate filling level?

Answer: (1) Connect the supplied pressure reducer to the gas cylinder. Use the supplied filling hose to connect directly to the storage cylinder. Slowly open the pressure reducer to begin filling with SF6, N2, air, or other gases.
(2) The storage cylinder (2L) is typically filled to 1–1.5MPa, allowing for dozens of tests per charge.

How do I replace the printer paper?

Answer: Printer paper is a consumable item and should be replaced based on usage. The paper can be replaced directly on the printer's front panel. The paper is thermal paper, model (Thermal Cash Register Paper 57*50). Press the button on the printer to open the top cover. Open the thermal paper package, place the paper with the glossy side down, pull out the paper strip, and close the cover.

Are the instrument readings during testing relative pressure values? How to test absolute pressure values for density relays?

Answer: This calibrator defaults to testing relative pressure values. The pressure type can be selected (refer to Appendix 2 for details). When the alarm value, lockout value, and rated pressure value of the density relay being calibrated are expressed in absolute pressure, select the absolute pressure type in the settings. Enter the values directly as indicated on the density relay without modification; the internal system will automatically convert them.
