The MOEORW-WGJ28 (200kV-10kJ) lightning impulse test system is a test device that simulates high-voltage pulses. High-voltage pulses are frequently encountered in real life. For example, during a lightning strike, extremely high pulse currents and voltages occur at the point of impact, inducing high pulse voltages in the surrounding area. Similarly, the switching operations of equipment in power systems also cause transient pulse voltages. These transient pulse voltages often have amplitudes of tens or hundreds of kilovolts, which can damage equipment and endanger personal safety. Therefore, experimental research on impulse voltages is essential. On the other hand, simulating natural lightning phenomena to study the discharge mechanism is also very meaningful.
