Product feature and application
★Comprehensive functionality meets testing requirements for excitation characteristics (i.e., volt-ampere characteristics), transformation ratio, polarity, secondary winding resistance, secondary load, ratio error, and phase angle error of various CTs (e.g., protection, metering, TP-type), while also supporting testing of excitation characteristics, transformation ratio, polarity, and secondary winding resistance for electromagnetic units of various PTs.
★ Automatically provides key parameters including knee point voltage/current, 10%(5%) error curve, accuracy limit factor (ALF), instrument security factor (FS), secondary time constant (Ts), remanence coefficient (Kr), and saturation inductance.
★ Tests comply with various transformer standards including GB1208 (IEC60044-1), GB16847 (IEC60044-6), and GB1207, automatically selecting applicable standards based on transformer type and rating.
★ Utilizes advanced low-frequency testing methodology to handle CTs with breakpoints up to 80kV.
★ The instrument employs the internationally popular square wave method, producing a more perfect excitation curve.

I. Power Engineering Infrastructure Construction and Installation/Commissioning
For new substations, power plants, distribution rooms, and similar projects, conduct full-parameter verification of CTs (protection-grade, transient protection-grade, metering-grade, zero-sequence-type) and PTs. This includes testing excitation characteristics, transformation ratios, polarity, winding resistance, load capacity, and other parameters to ensure compliance with standards such as GB1208 and GB16847. Verify suitability for specialized installation scenarios like transformer bushing CTs and GIS switch CTs.
II. Power Equipment Operation, Maintenance, and Inspection
Regular Maintenance: Periodically test critical parameters of operational CTs/PTs, compare against historical data, and predict equipment aging or moisture ingress issues.
