Product feature and application

• The instrument features touchscreen operation, allowing direct interaction with the interface using a stylus or finger.

• Data storage options include internal memory and external SD card storage, selectable as needed.

• Features overvoltage, overcurrent, and overheat protection functions.

• Discharge testing capability: Performs constant-current or constant-power discharge using an intelligent dummy load after disconnecting the battery pack from the system, or enables constant-current discharge by connecting the intelligent dummy load in parallel with user equipment. After setting parameters such as "discharge current," "discharge time," "discharge capacity," and "group termination protection voltage," the tester automatically executes the discharge function while displaying real-time data including discharge current, discharged battery capacity, group voltage, and discharge time. Discharge parameters can be modified during the test. The discharge test can be stopped when the battery pack reaches the set termination voltage, termination capacity, or termination time.

• During testing, if an abnormality is detected in the entire battery pack or the tester malfunctions, the tester automatically terminates the test to protect the batteries. The tester features an integrated design combining monitoring and power sections, with the power section utilizing new high-efficiency components.

• User-friendly interface with simplified operation and clear workflow, featuring simplified Chinese prompts for each step.

• High-brightness color LCD display with crisp and elegant visuals.

• Powerful host computer data management software with an intuitive interface, offering data management, printing, analysis, statistical reporting, and automatic test report generation.

FAQ

1)What are the testing steps for a battery discharge tester?

Step 1: Set the discharge switch to the "Disconnect" position (to prevent reverse connection of discharge cables and damage to the instrument; reverse connection will trigger an alarm).
Step 3: Connect one end of the discharge cable to the main unit and the other end to both terminals of the battery pack. (Note: Red is positive, black is negative). Reverse connection will trigger an alarm.
Step 4: Connect the voltage test leads to both terminals of the battery pack.
Step 5: Plug in the power supply and turn on the main unit.
Step 6: Enter the discharge parameter settings. (See Section 3.1 for details)
Step 7: Switch the discharge switch to the "Close" position.
Step 8: Press "Confirm" to start the test.

2)How do I wire the main unit of the battery discharge tester?

When connecting wires before testing, follow the sequence "instrument first, battery second": connect the instrument end first, then the battery end.
After testing, disconnect wires in the order "battery first, instrument second": disconnect the battery end first, then the instrument end.
• Connect the discharge cable between the tester's "Discharge Current Interface" and the battery pack terminals.
Note: Connect the "Positive" (red) terminal to the battery pack's positive terminal, and the "Negative" (black) terminal to the battery pack's negative terminal. Reverse connection is strictly prohibited!
• Connect the battery pack voltage cable between the tester's "Battery Pack Voltage" terminal and the battery pack's positive and negative terminals.
• Note: Connect the "positive" (red clamp) of the battery pack voltage lead to the battery pack positive terminal, and the "negative" (black clamp) to the battery pack negative terminal. Reverse connection is strictly prohibited!

3)can battery testers be wrong ?

When starting the test, a high voltage warning appears. Overvoltage protection parameters are set.
Check if the SD card is inserted and whether it is damaged. Replace the SD card and try again.
Touchscreen malfunction: Recalibrate the touchscreen.
• The tester should be placed in a well-ventilated environment free from corrosion and strong electromagnetic interference. Do not block the ventilation holes at the front and rear of the main unit to ensure proper airflow!
• Do not plug or unplug terminals while the tester is powered on during normal operation, as this may damage the device!
• If AC power suddenly fails during discharge, the fan will continue operating to dissipate heat. Do not turn off the discharge switch at this time; wait approximately 1 minute before switching it off.
• Strictly follow this manual during operation. Never operate while energized or handle roughly.
• Avoid bumps or severe impacts when moving the product.
• Store the product in a moisture-proof and fire-safe environment.
• Illustrations and descriptions in this manual may differ slightly from the actual product. The physical product shall prevail.
• High voltage is present inside the unit. Unauthorized repairs by non-company maintenance personnel or non-authorized repair software are strictly prohibited.
• Unauthorized disassembly or repair without company permission will void the warranty automatically.
