DC resistance measurement is a mandatory test item in the manufacturing of inductive coils such as transformers, instrument transformers, reactors, and electromagnetic operating mechanisms. It is used for semi-finished and finished product factory testing, installation, commissioning testing, and preventative testing by the power sector. It effectively detects manufacturing defects in inductive coils, such as material selection, welding, loose connections, missing strands, and broken wires, as well as potential hazards after operation. Under normal circumstances, measuring the DC resistance of transformer windings and high-power inductive equipment using traditional methods (bridge method) is a time-consuming and labor-intensive task. To change this situation, shorten measurement time, and reduce the workload of testing personnel, our company has developed a DC resistance tester .
This instrument employs cutting-edge power supply technology, featuring small size, light weight, wide testing range, strong anti-interference capability, comprehensive protection functions, and a large-screen color LCD display. The entire unit is controlled by a microcontroller, automatically completing self-tests and data processing, and includes automatic discharge and discharge indication functions. The instrument offers high testing accuracy, is easy to operate, and enables rapid DC resistance measurement.
