Product Introduction

MOEORW-WKT01 High & Low Voltage Switchgear Power-on Test Bench (also referred to as Switchgear Power-on Test Console, Cabinet Power-on Inspection Station, or Switchgear Test Power Supply) is an integrated power source device specifically designed for comprehensive pre-delivery power-on testing of switchgear. It consolidates multiple AC and DC power supplies required for switchgear commissioning into a single cabinet, replacing multiple independent power sources with one machine. This helps switchgear manufacturers and power engineering companies significantly improve factory testing efficiency and ensure each cabinet's electrical performance meets delivery standards.

Product feature

Integrated Power Outputs Covering All Test Scenarios
This Switchgear Power-on Test Console accepts three-phase four-wire AC380V input and provides the following outputs:
Single-phase AC100V fixed output
Three-phase AC0~30A high-current output
DC 12V, 24V, 48V, 110V, 220V fixed voltage outputs
Three-phase AC0~400V adjustable AC operating voltage output
DC0~300V adjustable DC operating voltage output
Single-phase AC220V socket outlet
Three-phase AC380V terminal output

The above outputs cover all power-on testing requirements for high and low voltage switchgear, including energy storage motors, closing coils, tripping coils, microprocessor-based protection devices, and lighting/heating circuits. There is no need to frequently switch wiring among multiple independent power supplies-one connection completes all test items, reducing test time per cabinet by over 40%.
Each output channel is independently controlled by its own contactor and is protected by a 10A miniature circuit breaker (MCB) connected in series before the output terminals. When a short circuit occurs on one channel, only that channel's MCB trips, without affecting the normal operation of other channels or damaging the internal transformer or voltage regulator.

High-Precision Digital Meters with Traceable Data
This Switchgear Test Power Supply is standardly equipped with 0.5-class digital meters for voltage and current display. 0.5-class accuracy means the measurement error does not exceed ±0.5% of the full scale, far superior to the 2.5-class accuracy of traditional analog meters.
In switchgear factory inspection reports, power-on test voltage and current data are mandatory key items. Data generated with 0.5-class meters complies with the accuracy recommendations of DL/T 404-2018 "Alternating-current metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for rated voltages above 12kV and up to and including 40.5kV," ensuring your factory report data is compliant and credible. Upon request, we can supply third-party calibration certificates from accredited metrology institutions along with the delivery.

Independent Circuit Design Eliminating Cross-Interference
Unlike low-end products where multiple output channels share a single voltage regulator causing interference between adjustable and fixed outputs, the MOEORW-WKT01 Power-on Test Bench is designed strictly on the principle of "only the activated channel produces output." The AC operating voltage adjustment circuit, DC operating voltage adjustment circuit, high-current output circuit, and fixed voltage output circuits are electrically isolated from each other.
During DC110V fixed voltage testing of closing coils, accidental contact with other adjustment knobs will not cause voltage fluctuations that could damage sensitive electronic components. Each channel supports independent closing and opening operations, and multiple channels can be closed and output simultaneously (e.g., outputting AC220V lighting power and DC110V control power at the same time) to simulate the actual operating condition of switchgear.

Ergonomics and Safety Operation Design
The front panel strictly follows electrical safety operation standards:
All closing buttons are uniformly green, and all opening buttons are uniformly red. Buttons and indicator lights are separately arranged with clear labels: "Closing Button," "Opening Button," "Closing Indicator," and "Opening Indicator."
Red light illuminates after closing, green light illuminates after opening-operation status is clear at a glance, preventing misjudgment.
Adjustable output channels are equipped with independent adjustment knobs with clear silk-screen labels such as "DC Power Output Knob," "Adjustable Voltage Output Knob," and "Current Output Knob" to prevent confusion.
An emergency stop button is provided on the panel. When pressed, it simultaneously cuts off the coil power of all main circuit contactors, instantly disconnecting all outputs. In addition to power cord grounding, the device enclosure has an independent grounding terminal to ensure reliable chassis grounding, complying with GB/T 16927.1 safety requirements for high-voltage testing.

Robust and Durable for Workshop Environments
The cabinet features silver-gray electrostatic powder coating, and the panel is made of anodized aluminum. The silver-gray finish does not cause glare under workshop lighting and resists oil stains and scratches-even after long-term use in assembly shop environments, it looks like new after wiping. Heavy-duty locking casters are installed at the bottom, allowing a single operator to easily move the unit to any workstation. Once in position, stepping on the brakes securely locks it in place without affecting wiring operations.

Product Application

Scenario 1: Comprehensive Pre-delivery Power-on Testing of Switchgear
After switchgear assembly is completed and before packaging for shipment, all primary and secondary circuits must undergo power-on inspection. This includes: passing high current through the primary circuit to verify current-carrying capacity, applying AC/DC operating voltage to the control circuit to verify closing/tripping actions, applying AC220V to auxiliary circuits to verify lighting and heating functions, and energizing protection circuits to verify microprocessor-based protection device operation. This test bench can complete all the above items sequentially after a single wiring connection, making it an indispensable device at the factory inspection station for switchgear manufacturers.

Scenario 2: Commissioning and Power Delivery After On-site Installation of Switchgear
After switchgear installation is completed at substations or distribution rooms, test power is required to energize and commission the cabinets, verifying whether secondary wiring has loosened or components have been damaged during transportation and installation. This Cabinet Test Power Supply is moderately sized and equipped with casters, allowing it to be transported to site via service vehicles, providing reliable temporary power for on-site commissioning.

Scenario 3: Functional Verification After Switchgear Maintenance
After major overhauls or replacement of core components such as circuit breakers and comprehensive protection devices, power-on testing is required to verify maintenance quality. This Power-on Test Bench can provide power at various voltage levels required for maintenance, eliminating the need to transport the cabinet being repaired to a fixed test lab, greatly facilitating on-site maintenance operations.

Scenario 4: Incoming Material Inspection for Assembly Plants
After procuring secondary components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and comprehensive protection devices, assembly plants can use this Switchgear Test Power Supply to perform random power-on inspections on received components. This confirms component functionality before assembly, preventing defective products from entering the production line at the source.

Quality Assurance & Customization Services

All core components of this Switchgear Power-on Test Bench (transformers, voltage regulators, contactors, rectifier bridges) are selected from leading domestic or joint-venture brands. The cabinet sheet metal is laser-cut, CNC-bent and formed, with solid welding and precise hole positioning. Each device undergoes 72 hours of complete aging and power-on testing before delivery, verifying the stability and temperature rise of each output channel under rated load.

Customization Capabilities: We accept non-standard customization, including but not limited to: higher voltage outputs (e.g., DC0~400V), higher current outputs (e.g., AC0~50A), addition of special voltage circuits, modification of cabinet dimensions to suit specific workstation layouts, and addition of RS485 communication interfaces for automated test system integration. Please communicate your specific requirements with our technical engineers before placing an order.
