(Wuhan Moen) today announced the successful delivery and commissioning of a mobile series resonance test system (Model MOEORW-WXK62) to a provincial ultra-high voltage (UHV) substation maintenance center. The system integrates variable-frequency series resonance technology with a hydraulic lifting platform, significantly improving on-site AC withstand voltage testing efficiency and safety for UHV equipment.
Project Overview
The system is designed for AC withstand voltage testing of capacitive test objects rated from 6kV to 500kV, including XLPE cables, GIS, switches, busbars, bushings, power transformers, PT/CT, generators, and power capacitors. Housed in a containerized vehicle-mounted platform, heavy components such as reactors can be automatically lifted via hydraulic system, eliminating the need for cranes and drastically reducing on-site setup time.

On-Site Commissioning During commissioning, the system successfully completed automatic frequency sweeping, voltage boosting, withstand timing, and step-down exit. Test data showed stable operation at 757.61kV / 247.83Hz, with all protection functions verified. The system fully complies with State Grid and IEC standards.
