Product Introduction

 

The inter-turn impulse withstand voltage tester (i.e., digital inter-turn tester ) can efficiently and non-destructively perform electrical tests on components with coil windings. Its principle is to apply the same pulse voltage to a standard coil winding and the winding under test, comparing their transient waveforms to test the quality of the coil under test. The transient waveform is the waveform of damped oscillations occurring within the coil . It can simultaneously determine the inductance, quality factor, difference in the number of turns, and inter-turn short circuit conditions of the winding. In the case of an iron core, it can also determine differences in its material. Under the application of a high-voltage pulse, the occurrence of corona discharge can also indicate poor insulation. In short, all the elements indicating coil quality can be checked in a very short time.

II. Detection and Judgment Mode
Judgment Method Function Description

  • Waveform area comparison: Compare the waveform area of the standard coil and the measured coil within a specified range.
  • Comparison of waveform area: The difference between the area of the waveform deviation portion and the standard area.
  • Waveform corona measurement is used to detect the high-frequency components in corona discharge spikes to determine insulation performance.
  • The waveform phase comparison compares the oscillation period (zero crossing point), with a focus on checking the inductance L value.
  • The four modes can be used in combination or individually, and the judgment threshold can be set arbitrarily.
