Product Introduction

 

The test turn-to-turn insulation strength can efficiently and non-destructively perform electrical tests on components with coil windings. Its principle is to apply the same pulse voltage to a standard coil winding and the winding under test, comparing their transient waveforms to test the quality of the coil under test. The transient waveform is the waveform of damped oscillations occurring within the coil . It can simultaneously determine the inductance, quality factor, difference in the number of turns, and inter-turn short circuit conditions of the winding. In the case of an iron core, it can also determine differences in its material. Under the application of a high-voltage pulse, the occurrence of corona discharge can also indicate poor insulation. In short, all the elements indicating coil quality can be checked in a very short time.
