Multi-Pulse Cable Fault Test System
Product Overview
The MOEORW-W6000K complete system is a professional integrated testing solution independently developed by Wuhan Moen Intelligent Electric Co., Ltd., tailored for power cable inspection, path tracing, cable identification and full-range fault diagnosis.
This full set is composed of three core devices: MOEORW-W6000K Multi-Pulse Cable Fault Test System, MOEORW-W6000K-L Cable Path Identifier and MOEORW-W6000K-Q High Voltage Bridge. It covers the whole working process including underground pipeline survey, cable screening, high-resistance fault burning, fault pre-location and precise pinpointing.
Equipped with digital sampling, multi-pulse reflection, high-voltage constant current and automatic impedance matching technologies, the system delivers outstanding anti-interference performance and high testing precision. All components comply with international electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards. The modular portable design adapts to various field environments, and it is widely applied in power grid operation, municipal engineering, railway transit, airport facilities and industrial power distribution fields.
Working Principle
1. MOEORW-W6000K-L Cable Path Identifier
The transmitter outputs adjustable pulse signals and couples signals to cables or metal pipelines through direct connection, clamp coupling or induction mode. The receiver captures electromagnetic field signals via built-in 3D shielding antennas or external flexible clamps. By analyzing signal amplitude, phase and current direction, the instrument realizes pipeline path tracking and buried depth measurement. It also supports non-contact cable identification to distinguish target cables from multiple lines. The optional A-frame adopts the step voltage method to locate cable and pipeline grounding faults accurately.
2. MOEORW-W6000K-Q High Voltage Bridge
The built-in high-voltage burn-out unit outputs continuous adjustable high voltage to convert unstable high-resistance faults into stable low-resistance faults. The intelligent bridge applies the four-terminal measurement principle to eliminate the interference caused by test lead resistance. It calculates fault distance according to the proportional relation between cable conductor resistance and physical length, and provides three testing methods to adapt to different cable types and wiring conditions.
3. MOEORW-W6000K Multi-Pulse Cable Fault Test System
Based on Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) and exclusive multiple pulse conversion technology, this system converts complicated high-resistance flashover waveforms into standard short-circuit pulse waveforms. After high-voltage impact breaks down the fault point, multiple groups of low-voltage test pulses are transmitted. The system calculates fault distance by combining pulse round-trip time and cable wave velocity. The matched sound-magnetic locator is used for final precise pinpointing of fault points.
