Description

Vacuum Switch Interrupter Vacuity Tester

Product Introduction

The "voltage withstand test," a conventional testing technique, involves applying a certain voltage between the moving and stationary contacts while the vacuum switch is in the open position. The condition of the vacuum tube is evaluated by measuring the leakage current's magnitude. This method's benefits include its ease of use. Its limitations include the inability to accurately distinguish vacuum levels between 10⁻¹ and 10⁻¹ Pa, which makes it impossible to assess the progression of leakage (i.e., the extent of leakage increase in the same switch compared to previous measurements) and its limited ability to qualitatively assess the condition of the vacuum tube.
The vacuum tester from our organization has a lightweight, portable design, a compact construction, a quicker testing time, improved measurement accuracy, stability, and dependability, and more extensive functionality.

FAQ

1)Does the MEZK-WIV Vacuum Degree Tester require disassembly of the vacuum switch during on-site measurement?

Answer: No. This instrument employs a novel magnetic control coil that surrounds the vacuum switch arc chamber from the side. Measurement can be completed without removing the arc chamber from the circuit breaker, eliminating the cumbersome task of adjusting mechanical parameters during disassembly and reassembly. This reduces operational complexity and workload.

2)What are the core advantages of the MEZK-WIV Vacuum Level Tester compared to the traditional "withstand voltage method"?

Answer: The traditional "withstand voltage method" can only qualitatively assess vacuum tube integrity. It cannot accurately distinguish vacuum levels within the 10⁻⁴ to 10⁻¹ Pa range nor predict leakage trends. The MEZK-IV Vacuum Tester quantitatively measures the vacuum level within the arc-extinguishing chamber, precisely obtaining specific vacuum readings. It also features data storage, printing, and communication capabilities, enabling leakage trend tracking and lifespan estimation. It offers superior measurement accuracy, reliability, and practicality.

3)How should abnormal conditions with the MEZK-WIV Vacuum Tester be handled?

Answer: If abnormalities occur during testing, immediately shut off the instrument's power supply. Do not attempt to open the chassis or disassemble it for repairs. Contact the instrument manufacturer promptly to have qualified personnel perform troubleshooting and maintenance. Avoid safety risks or instrument damage caused by unauthorized operations.
