Product Introduction

 

The MOEORW-W5203 DC test power supply is a fundamental preventive test to ensure the safe operation of high-voltage circuit breakers in power systems. Currently, power departments primarily employ the following two methods for testing:

1. Utilizing the DC system from the on-site control cabinet as the test power source, with voltage adjusted via a sliding resistor. The primary drawback of this method is that any short circuit in the test wiring or direct DC grounding would directly impact the entire on-site DC system. Minor incidents could result in loss of protection for high-voltage equipment, while severe cases could cause the entire on-site DC system to collapse.

2. Using on-site AC power, which undergoes simple silicon rectification via a voltage regulator before direct DC output. The disadvantages of this method are: ① The voltage regulator is bulky, inconvenient to use, and produces significant DC ripple; ② There is no isolation between input and output, potentially causing the casing to become energized and posing a risk to personnel safety.

In light of the above, our company has developed and introduced a new generation of high-voltage switch closing/opening power supplies. This power supply features complete isolation between input and output, delivering stable and reliable DC output with a low ripple factor. It includes overcurrent and overvoltage protection, boasts an aesthetically pleasing design, is compact and lightweight, and offers simple wiring and operation. This power supply provides an independent test power source for on-site high-voltage switch closing and tripping operation tests.
