Product Overview
The MEFJ-M9 SF6 comprehensive gas analyzer is an intelligent high-precision detection device independently developed by Wuhan Moen Intelligent Electric Co., Ltd. It adopts imported core sensing components: Vaisala high-stability humidity sensor from Finland, temperature-compensated micro thermal conductivity cell, and high-resolution electrochemical sensors from AlphaSense UK, equipped with embedded microcomputer control technology.
The instrument simultaneously detects SF6 gas humidity, purity, and decomposition toxic products including SO₂, H₂S, HF, CO. It identifies early internal faults of SF6 insulated electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, GIS, transformers, current transformers and busbars. Built-in expert diagnosis algorithm, cloud data transmission and gas tail gas harmless treatment structure are integrated to support on-site rapid testing for power, railway, metallurgy and petrochemical industries.
Safety reminder: SF6 decomposition gas contains toxic substances. Operators must discharge waste gas far away from working areas and wear acid gas respirators during testing.

FAQ
Q1: How long is the mandatory preheating time before formal testing?
A1: For purity measurement: ≥20 min if ambient temperature>20℃; ≥30 min if ambient temperature<20℃. For humidity and decomposition products: minimum 10 min preheating. Testing can start when the thermal balance indicator flashes red-green alternately.
Q2: Can the "Zero Clear" button be used during gas sampling?
A2: Forbidden. If triggered accidentally, stop measurement immediately, purge pipeline for 5 min via built-in pump then re-zero or restart the device.
Q3: What are the requirements for SF6 cylinder gas sampling?
A3: Outlet pressure ≤1.0 MPa; cylinder must not be inverted to avoid liquid SF6 outflow. Adjust flow rate slowly to prevent sudden pressure shock to sensors.
Q4: How often does sensor calibration need to be performed?
A4: Routine full calibration every 6–12 months, operated by trained supervisors with qualified standard gas. Zero calibration is required when any drift value exceeds ±0.32.
Q5: Data cannot be exported via USB flash drive?
A5: Check two points: 1) Start time is earlier than end time; 2) USB flash drive is properly inserted and recognized by the instrument. Follow on-screen prompts to troubleshoot.
Q6: How to store the instrument during long-term idle state?
A6: Fully charge the lithium battery before storage; check battery voltage periodically to avoid deep discharge damage to the power module. Avoid vibration, extrusion and high-temperature storage environment.
