When a single-phase ground fault occurs in the power system, the three-phase line voltages remain symmetrical, having no impact on users. Therefore, regulations stipulate that operation can continue for 2 hours, improving the reliability of the distribution network. However, grounding capacitive current exists at the grounding point, which may damage electrical equipment.
