The MOEORW-WCP53 capacitance current tester is a high-voltage electrical testing instrument designed for power operation and maintenance/testing/power supply companies.
Mainly used for uninterruptible power measurement of different frequencies on the secondary side of PT.
It can quickly and accurately measure grounding capacitance current, avoid equipment damage, and simplify wiring operations.

Product Introduction

 

With rated voltage levels of 35kV (66kV) and below adopt a neutral-point ungrounded configuration. When a single-phase ground fault occurs in the power system, the three-phase line voltages remain symmetrical, having no impact on users. Therefore, regulations stipulate that operation can continue for 2 hours, improving the reliability of the distribution network. However, grounding capacitive current exists at the grounding point, which may damage electrical equipment. Therefore, regulations stipulate that when the grounding capacitive current of the 35kV or 10kV power grid exceeds 10A and 30A respectively, arc suppression coils should be installed to compensate for the grounding capacitive current. Therefore, testing the grounding capacitive current of the distribution network is a crucial test item.
