Product Introduction

MOEORW-W5085B1 Transformer Partial Discharge Online Monitoring Device is developed in strict accordance with State Grid standards Technical Specifications for Live Detection of Power Equipment and General Technical Specifications for Online Monitoring Devices of Substation Equipment. It is specially designed for 110kV and above main transformers of power plants and substations. It supports synchronous live online partial discharge monitoring via three detection technologies: UHF, AE ultrasonic and HFCT high-frequency pulse. Long-term real-time insulation defect monitoring can be realized without power cut, serving as standardized supporting equipment for power grid renovation, new substation construction and power plant operation & maintenance general contracting projects.

1.Fully compliant with power grid standards to eliminate bidding barriers The R&D and testing procedures of the product fully comply with current State Grid detection standards. Complete type test reports and calibration certificates issued by third-party power testing institutions are available. For B-end engineering contractors and system integrators, complete qualification documents can avoid bid rejection caused by non-compliant equipment.

2.Compatible with all voltage levels to flexible inventory turnover Applicable to all oil-immersed transformers of 110kV/220kV/330kV/500kV. Wholesalers do not need separate storage by voltage grade, as one single product covers most substation projects and reduces capital occupation by inventory backlog.

3.Live monitoring without power cut to fit stock renovation market Renovation projects of existing substations cannot shut down power for maintenance. This system can be directly installed without damaging transformer sealing or original insulation structure, matching the huge stock power grid renovation market and bringing massive downstream demand for wholesalers.

Product feature

1. Ultra-high detection sensitivity for early warning of tiny defects

  • Measurable minimum discharge quantity: 5PC (conventional industry products range from 10~50PC);
  • Technical support: 14-bit high-precision AD conversion, 125MS/s high-speed sampling rate, 16-channel synchronous acquisition with time synchronization error less than 100ns, ensuring complete time alignment of multi-sensor signals without missing weak partial discharge pulses;
  • Downstream operation & maintenance teams can capture early defects such as conductive particles, air gaps and insulation aging inside transformers in advance to prevent catastrophic breakdown accidents. Low equipment failure rate greatly reduces after-sales complaints for wholesalers.

2. Triple detection fusion & powerful anti-interference for stable operation under complex substation electromagnetic environment

  • Technical solution: Parallel detection of UHF (300~1500MHz, avoiding corona interference below 300MHz), 20kHz~200kHz ultrasonic and 0.3~30MHz HFCT, with dual-layer digital filtering algorithm in time and frequency domains;
  • Authoritative anti-interference indicators: Withstands 600kV flashover impact without equipment damage or loss of original partial discharge data; built-in 690~960MHz band-stop filter suppresses electromagnetic interference from mobile phones and communication base stations on site, improving signal-to-noise ratio by over 50dB;
  • Stable performance in strong interference scenarios including urban/rural substations, base station adjacent areas and PV booster stations, expanding applicable project types and enabling wholesalers to bid for more complex working condition projects.

3. Distributed edge computing architecture to cut long-term operation traffic cost

  • Architecture features: Local filtering, peak value, RMS value and phase pattern calculation finished on acquisition units; only valid feature data uploaded with raw waveforms cached locally for playback; supports multiple transmission links including optical fiber, Ethernet, 4G and RS485;
  • Comparison with traditional equipment: Conventional devices upload all raw waveforms in real time with 70% higher 4G traffic consumption, while this device reduces monthly average traffic cost by 65%; local data storage during network disconnection with automatic retransmission after network recovery to avoid data loss;
  • Downstream clients achieve significant reduction in cloud remote monitoring traffic expense, bringing superior long-term cost performance and differentiated competitive advantages over rival products beyond price.

4. Modular distributed expansion to improve construction & commissioning efficiency for mass projects

  • Hardware design: Modular acquisition units support flexible addition or removal of monitoring channels; the system automatically identifies sensors without manual reconfiguration of IP addresses and parameters; one 100M optical switch connects up to 6 acquisition units with conflict-free networking of multiple substation monitoring stations;
  • Construction advantage: The whole set of sensors for one transformer can be installed within 2 working hours; magnetic ultrasonic sensors and split-core HFCT sensors require no oil draining or power-off drilling;
  • Engineering contractors cut on-site labor cost by 40% and shorten delivery cycle when undertaking mass substation projects, boosting downstream repurchase and bulk order willingness.

5. Durable hardware for all working conditions with long-term outdoor maintenance-free operation

  • Environmental tolerance parameters: Operating temperature -30℃~+60℃, relative humidity ≤95%, IP65 outdoor protection grade for sensors;
  • Sensor hardware: Ultrasonic sensors adopt Fuji piezoelectric ceramic elements with 67dB sensitivity and ultra-low temperature drift; HFCT sensors with full metal shielding shell for rain and dust resistance;
  • The equipment runs continuously outdoors for 5 years without spare part replacement, featuring low failure rate and sharply reduced long-term after-sales labor & material cost for wholesalers.

The Role of Online Monitoring Software Platforms

1.Lightweight Web cloud platform without local server deployment Built on React microservice architecture, accessible directly via browser URL from PC and tablet; embedded SQL Server database automatically stores full-cycle partial discharge trends and pattern data with 10-year historical data playback support. Downstream clients save extra cost of industrial control servers, lowering overall project budget and strengthening competitiveness of wholesaler's complete set solutions.

2.Multi-dimensional partial discharge diagnostic patterns compliant with power grid acceptance standards Four standard analysis charts including PRPD 2D pattern, PRPS 3D pattern, phase linear graph and long-term trend line graph are embedded. The system automatically calculates discharge peak value, discharge count, noise level and fault diagnosis probability, and generates standardized power test reports directly applicable to substation completion acceptance documents. Downstream engineering contractors do not need third-party analysis software, simplifying acceptance procedures and improving the completeness of bidding complete set solutions.

3.Graded early warning management for unified control of mass stations Customizable alarm thresholds (independent settings for UHF, ultrasonic and HFCT), two-level notification of yellow attention warning and red fault alarm; one single platform connects dozens of substation monitoring sub-stations simultaneously to view online status and alarm records of all main transformers in a unified interface. Regional O&M general contractors and power group clients can manage all stations in one stop, matching large-volume group procurement orders.

4.Visual full-level equipment configuration to save time on mass commissioning The platform automatically identifies stations, acquisition units and sensors, supporting batch editing of device alias, sampling cycle and data upload frequency; historical sampling data can be filtered by sensor model, time and alarm status with one-click Excel export of test records. Engineering contractors sharply cut back-end commissioning labor input for mass project implementation and improve delivery efficiency.
