Product Introduction
MOEORW-W5086U GIS Partial Discharge Online Monitoring System is independently developed in strict accordance with complete power industry standards including IEC 60270, GB/T 7354, State Grid Q/GDW 11059.1/2 GIS Partial Discharge Live Test Guidelines and China Southern Power Grid Q/CSG 11401. It supports dual detection technologies of Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) and contact ultrasonic, and realizes live-line online monitoring for all types of 72.5kV and above GIS gas insulated switchgears. The system integrates three independent transmission architectures: optical fiber, LoRa wireless and 4G full-network communication. Bulk buyers can freely select networking schemes according to actual substation site conditions without customized separate models, which greatly reduces dealers' inventory pressure. The equipment can accurately capture latent insulation defects inside GIS such as metal particles, insulation air gaps and tip discharge, with a minimum detectable discharge signal of 5PC. It predicts insulation deterioration in advance to avoid severe accidents including GIS flashover and full-station power outage, and fully complies with all technical specifications for power grid bidding of substation online monitoring equipment.
Product feature
1.Ultra-high detection sensitivity covering all minor defects: The system can detect discharge signals as low as 5PC. The UHF sensor operates within 300~1500MHz frequency band with detection sensitivity of -80dBm and measuring range of -80~0dBm. The acquisition unit is equipped with a 125MS/s sampling rate and 14-bit high-precision ADC chip, supporting 6-channel synchronous collection and capturing signals of 50 complete power frequency cycles at one time, with dual noise reduction of multi-stage hardware filtering and high-order digital filtering. Conventional partial discharge equipment on the market can only identify strong discharge above 20PC, while our product can capture early weak insulation hazards months in advance, greatly improving the acceptance rate of the client's substations and helping bulk customers win power engineering projects.
2.Strong anti-interference and high voltage shock resistance for stable operation under complex electromagnetic environments: The whole unit can withstand 600kV flashover shock without damage or data loss. It adopts joint time-domain and frequency-domain interference separation algorithm, together with front-end coaxial shielding wiring and multi-stage hardware filtering, to effectively filter electromagnetic interference from substation inverters, switch operations and external communication clutter, significantly lowering false alarm rate and reducing after-sales maintenance workload for downstream clients.
3.High-precision synchronization for multiple devices and large-scale distributed networking: The synchronous time difference of all acquisition units is less than 100ns, supporting both external voltage synchronization and internal phase synchronization. One data concentrator can connect dozens of acquisition units, and multiple monitoring substations can be cascaded via optical fiber to build large regional monitoring networks, with three switchable communication modes (optical fiber, LoRa, 4G) for different scenarios. Large-scale renovation projects of county power grids and multi-bay substations can be centrally managed, cutting the client's overall procurement cost and raising profit margins for complete set supply.
4.Edge local computing with no data loss under network disconnection and dual-terminal data backtracking: The edge computing module built in acquisition units calculates partial discharge peak values, effective values and characteristic patterns locally and caches data on-site. Missing records will be automatically transmitted after network recovery. It supports dual data storage on local servers and cloud platforms. For mountainous sites with weak 4G signals, raw fault data can be fully retained to ensure complete and traceable documents for project acceptance.
5.Non-destructive GIS installation with short construction period: External UHF sensors are mounted on GIS basin insulators and connected via 50Ω shielded coaxial cables, without damaging the sealing structure or original insulation performance of GIS enclosures. All equipment adopts wall-mounted installation; no GIS pressure relief or full-station power cut is required for renovation, cutting single-site construction period by 70% and greatly reducing labor costs for engineering contractors.
6.Distributed automatic identification and expansion without re-commissioning for later additions: With networked distributed layout, when adding or removing acquisition units and sensors, the background software automatically scans, identifies and configures parameters through the unique SN code of each device, with no manual modification of underlying programs. It adapts to phased technical renovation projects of substations, facilitating phased delivery for bulk customers and increasing repeat orders.
7.Real-time multi-level early warning and automatic GIS discharge defect location: The equipment collects real-time partial discharge amplitude trends and pops up alarms when signals exceed thresholds. It calculates precise defect positions through time difference algorithm of multi-sensor signals, and provides multi-dimensional analysis charts including 2D-PRPD, 3D-PRPS, phase linear graphs and 30-day trend line charts. The built-in power industry partial discharge expert database automatically distinguishes floating discharge, metal particle and air gap defects, eliminating manual bay-by-bay inspection and shortening substation fault maintenance time.
Complete System Hardware Composition
The complete monitoring system consists of four core hardware components and background analysis software, supporting separate purchase of single parts or complete set bidding. Hardware list is as follows:
1.UHF sensors: external and internal types optional, operating frequency band 300~1500MHz, matched with standard 50Ω shielded coaxial transmission cables;
2.6-channel intelligent partial discharge detection unit: six synchronous acquisition channels compatible with optical fiber, LoRa and Ethernet data output interfaces;
3.Online monitoring data concentrator: wall-mounted and 1U rack-mounted specifications available, uniformly collecting all monitoring data from acquisition units and connecting to local substation servers or remote cloud platforms;
4.Partial discharge online monitoring background software: BS web architecture without local client installation, supporting multi-account hierarchical authority management, automatic export of monitoring data reports and automatic GIS defect location.
The system is equipped with three independent networking topology schemes (optical fiber, LoRa, 4G) for flexible selection according to substation wiring conditions and geographical locations.
Application Scenarios
Targeted at bulk B-end purchasers in the power industry, this system is applicable to all types of high-voltage GIS engineering projects, covering the following scenarios: complete supporting projects for GIS of newly
built 72.5kV~550kV substations; live-line online monitoring renovation projects for in-service GIS equipment; long-term insulation condition monitoring of high-voltage GIS in wind power, photovoltaic and energy storage booster stations; complete centralized operation and maintenance monitoring platform projects for multi-station county-level power grids; real-time insulation health monitoring projects for high-voltage GIS switchgears in thermal and hydropower plants.
