Product Overview

 

MOEORW-W6500 intelligent three-phase vector volt-ampere meter is a handheld testing instrument independently developed for power industry on-site verification, designed to solve hidden risks caused by incorrect wiring of transformer differential protection and high-voltage metering devices.

 

The equipment adopts DSP AC synchronous sampling architecture, supporting synchronous acquisition of 3 voltage channels and 3 current channels, with six-channel vector graphics displayed on one screen. It integrates phase calibration, electrical parameter measurement, metering wiring inspection, harmonic analysis, waveform observation and vector diagram drawing functions. The handheld housing is made of high-strength engineering plastic, equipped with a built-in large-capacity lithium battery, and supports offline field testing without external power supply.

 

It can accurately identify 48 types of miswiring of three-phase three-wire metering loops, draw complete hexagonal vector diagrams for complex differential protection via double-clamp measurement, analyze 2–21 times harmonic distortion of voltage and current, and store over 1,000 groups of test data for computer data upload and secondary analysis. The device is widely applicable to power substation acceptance, relay protection debugging, electric energy metering error inspection and power quality detection.

1.Double-clamp vector test function: Fixed A-phase current clamp, mobile auxiliary clamp to measure five groups of high/low side currents of transformer, automatically generate complete differential protection hexagonal vector diagram, and provide standard comparison vector diagram to judge wiring correctness.
2.Secondary electrical parameter measurement: Real-time display of three-phase voltage, three-phase current, phase angle distribution, vector diagram, and automatically select UA or Ia as phase reference benchmark according to signal access status.
3.Primary conversion parameter calculation: Automatically convert primary voltage, current, active/reactive/apparent power and power factor based on PT and CT transformation ratio preset by users, realizing direct reading of high-voltage side load data.
4.Three-phase three-wire metering wiring diagnosis: Automatically identify 48 types of standard and miswiring modes, judge phase sequence, current polarity error, and output metering correction coefficient for anti-electricity theft inspection.
5.Multi-dimensional power quality analysis:

  • Waveform real-time display: Simple oscilloscope function to switch voltage/current waveforms of each phase, observe signal distortion, cut-off and abnormal fluctuation;
  • Spectrum column diagram display: Intuitively display the percentage content of each harmonic, automatically adjust full-scale display threshold according to harmonic amplitude;
  • Harmonic data table output: Output effective value and percentage content of 1–63 times harmonic, calculate total harmonic distortion THD.

1.Local storage: Support storage of more than 1,000 groups of test records, each record stores transformer group, CT wiring mode, test time, substation number and full vector data.

4.Device self-checking module: Query instrument serial number, firmware version and ID number for equipment management and program upgrade.

Operation & Daily Maintenance

 

Wiring Operation Specifications
1.Connection sequence rule: Connect test leads to instrument terminals first, then connect to the measured equipment; when dismantling, remove the wiring from the measured equipment first, then disconnect the instrument side to avoid safety accidents.
2.Current clamp operation: Insert clamp sensors into corresponding ports before clamping the current loop; when disassembling, remove all clamps first before pulling out the sensor plugs to prevent CT secondary open-circuit high voltage damage.
3.Polarity requirement: The N marked end of each current clamp is the current outflow side; reverse clamping will cause phase angle measurement deviation.
4.Channel matching: Each clamp current sensor corresponds to an exclusive port; cross use will reduce test accuracy.
 

Battery Maintenance
1.Built-in lithium battery cannot be replaced by users without authorization; incompatible batteries will damage the internal power supply circuit.
2.Daily use: Charge fully every day; if stored for a long time, charge once every 30 days to avoid deep discharge shortening battery life.
3.Single charging time ≥4 hours; internal charging protection circuit supports continuous charging without overcharging risk.
4.If the battery is disassembled and reinstalled, the charger must be connected to release the protection state before normal startup.
 

Daily Maintenance Rules
1.After each test, wipe the clamp jaw and test lead insulation surface to remove metal debris and dust.
2.Store the instrument in the matched protective case, avoid heavy extrusion, falling, high temperature and high humidity storage environment.
3.Regularly check the insulation layer of test leads and alligator clips; replace damaged accessories immediately to prevent electric shock hazards.
4.Do not disassemble the main unit, clamp sensors and internal circuit without professional technical guidance.

 

FAQ

 

Q1: The phase angle display is missing after wiring, only amplitude data is shown

A: The reference signal UA voltage is less than 10 V and Ia current is lower than 5 mA. Check the voltage wiring and current clamp clamping position to ensure effective signal input.

Q2: Vector diagram test result is abnormal after double-clamp differential measurement

A: Confirm the transformer connection group, high/low voltage CT wiring mode preset in the parameter setting interface; mismatched parameter settings will output wrong standard vector diagrams.

Q3: Cannot save new test data to local storage

A: The storage capacity exceeds the upper limit of 1,000 groups. Enter the historical data interface and press F5 to clear all records, then perform storage operation again.

Q4: Measurement accuracy drops after exchanging different current clamps

A: Each clamp sensor is calibrated for a fixed channel. Cross use will cause precision attenuation (within ±2% error range). Restore the original matching of clamp and port to recover full accuracy.

Q5: The instrument cannot communicate with PC via RS232 port

A: Only the factory-equipped dedicated serial communication cable is applicable; ordinary serial cables cannot match the internal communication protocol. Replace with the original supporting cable.

Q6: The screen shows low power alarm during field testing

A: Return to the main menu to check the real-time battery power percentage; connect the dedicated charger for more than 4 hours of continuous charging before continuing the test.
