Its output test source automatically detects load current and implements corresponding safeguards, halting testing and providing alerts to prevent instrument damage from excessive external test circuit loads or short circuits.
The MEBC-YT2 Handheld Specialized Turns Ratio and Group Tester utilizes a large true-color LCD display. Its fully Chinese graphical user interface includes English prompt messages and a multi-parameter LCD display. The user-friendly interface provides vector diagrams and wiring verification to reliably confirm circuit accuracy. The full-touch conductive silicone keyboard offers excellent tactile feedback and intuitive operation. The instrument incorporates a large-capacity non-volatile memory that retains calibration data. It can store up to 1000 sets of field calibration results, which can be transferred to a computer via USB drive for report generation and printing, enabling computerized management.

1. True Three-Phase Testing: Single-phase power input generates a digitally synthesized three-phase standard sine wave signal source internally. Through a high-fidelity power amplifier, it produces a three-phase test power supply (with distortion less than 0.1% and symmetry better than 0.05%). Test results exhibit superior equivalence, eliminating phenomena such as incorrect phase group identification.
2. Powerful Functionality: Capable of both single-phase measurement and automatic three-phase winding testing. Measures polarity and phase angle for both single-phase and three-phase configurations. Simultaneously determines parameters including turns ratio, phase angle, error, tap position, and tap value for all three phases (AB, BC, CA). Automatically identifies group numbers (0-11 equivalent to 1-12).
3. Phase Angle Measurement: Accurately measures the phase angle (0-360°) between high and low voltage sides, enabling ratio and angle measurements for non-standard tap-change transformers.
4. Hexagram Display Function: Results shown numerically and as a hexagonal vector diagram, providing an intuitive visualization of the transformer's connection group configuration.
5. Blind Measurement Function: No need to select wiring methods or connection groups. Measures Y/Δ and Δ/Y transformers without external shorting. Automatically switches wiring methods based on selected test content. Fully capable of measuring turns ratio and group number for transformers without nameplates.
6. Tap Test: Rapidly measures turn ratio and ratio error at each tap position. The rated turn ratio needs only be entered once; ratio errors for all tap positions are calculated automatically without repeated input.
7. Dual Functionality: Simultaneously performs turn ratio measurement and operating voltage ratio measurement. The operating voltage ratio more accurately reflects the actual voltage ratio values under real operating conditions.
8. Demagnetization function eliminates residual magnetism in the transformer core, preventing interference with test results.
9. Specialized testing capability for low-input-voltage transformers employs a customized voltage level, avoiding situations where excessive excitation current prevents testing.
10. Superior vibration resistance: Military-grade connectors enhance shock and vibration tolerance.
11. Features a 5-inch high-definition true-color LCD screen for intuitive and detailed display of data and vector diagrams.
