FAQ

1)In what scenarios is the blind test function of the MEBC-WE tester applicable? How do you operate and initiate it?

Answer: The blind test function is applicable when the high/low voltage connection configuration and connection group of the device under test (transformer, PT, CT, etc.) are unknown. It accurately measures the turns ratio and connection group. Operation steps: 1. After completing wiring, turn on the power and enter the main menu; 2. Select the corresponding function: "Three-Phase Test," "Single-Phase Test," or "Z-Type Test"; 3. Locate the "Blind Test Function," set parameters such as test item number, rated high/low voltage, tap position, etc. (Connection group is fixed as 'Auto'); 4. Move the cursor to "Start Measurement" and press the "Confirm" key to initiate the test.

2)What indication does the MEBC-WE tester provide when the printer is out of paper? How to replace the paper?

Answer: When the printer is out of paper, the integrated indicator light will flash (the light remains steady during normal operation). Steps to replace the paper: 1. Pull out the printer's rotating lever and open the paper compartment cover; 2. Load the paper, pulling a section beyond the tear bar. Ensure the smooth side (the side with the chemical solution) faces upward; 3. Close the paper compartment cover. Align the print head's paper feed shaft with the paper, then press the print head firmly back into place; 4. Push the rotating lever back to reset it, completing the paper replacement.

3)How should the battery be maintained when the MEBC-WE tester is not in use for extended periods? Can the instrument be used normally while charging?

Answer: Maintenance requirements for long-term non-use: 1. Turn off the power promptly; 2. Charge and discharge the battery at least once a month to prevent deep discharge (immediately shut down and charge when low to avoid battery failure); 3. Do not disassemble or replace the battery yourself. Return the unit to the factory for repairs. The instrument can be used normally while charging. The charger indicator will be red during charging and turn green when fully charged. A single charge takes approximately 3 hours and allows continuous testing of over 100 transformers.
