Integrating capacity determination, no-load loss measurement, load loss measurement, and harmonic analysis into a single unit, it replaces multiple single-function instruments found on traditional test benches. It is particularly suited for field operations in outdoor environments, industrial plants, and remote substations where external AC test power is unavailable.


The device comes pre-loaded with a complete national standard database. It functions not merely as a testing tool but as a mobile transformer type identification system. It incorporates a 16.8V/6000mAh high-capacity lithium battery pack and a three-phase sine-wave inverter power supply (rated output 100VA, 5A/50Hz). With no external AC power available, it independently outputs test power to complete transformer capacity testing. This feature distinguishes it from ordinary transformer capacity testers, truly achieving "one instrument, no external assistance" for standalone field operations.

The battery management system monitors remaining charge in real time with percentage display and actively prompts charging when the level drops below 20%. An over-discharge protection function prevents premature battery aging due to deep discharge, extending overall service life. The charger adapter supports 100-240V wide voltage input for global compatibility, with an automatic color-changing indicator upon full charge.

 

Intelligent Determination Algorithm – Accurate Under Non-Rated Conditions

Transformers often operate at off-nominal tap positions in practice, while conventional instruments require testing strictly at the rated tap, otherwise results deviate significantly. The WBT67 incorporates a tap deviation compensation algorithm. Users simply select the current tap deviation (16 steps from -10% to +10%) in the parameter interface, and the instrument automatically converts test results to the rated tap condition without manual correction factors.

In load testing, when the test power supply capacity is insufficient, users can set the applied current to 30%~100% of rated value (in 10% increments). The instrument automatically converts short-circuit loss and impedance voltage to rated current values and simultaneously to the specified reference temperature (75°C default for oil-immersed types; 80°C, 95°C, 100°C, 120°C, or 145°C selectable for dry-type based on insulation class). This capability elevates the WBT67 beyond a mere characteristics tester in the eyes of users, establishing it as an intelligent analytical terminal with "back-calculation" capabilities.

The core algorithm of this transformer energy efficiency detector covers:

For non-standard or furnace transformers, users may manually input rated impedance, and the instrument still provides a reference determination.
