When using a grounding resistance tester, the following steps are generally required. First, correctly connect the tester to the grounding device and auxiliary electrodes. Auxiliary electrodes typically include current-assisted electrodes and voltage-assisted electrodes, which need to be arranged around the grounding device at specific distances and positions. Generally, the current-assisted electrodes are farther from the grounding device, and the voltage-assisted electrodes are closer. Second, set the tester parameters, such as the measurement range and test current. Then, start the tester to perform the measurement and wait for the results to stabilize before reading the data. Finally, disconnect the tester from the grounding device and auxiliary electrodes, and tidy up the testing equipment.
