The MOEORW-WLF10 is a portable cable broadband impedance defect locator. It performs non-destructive testing with a positioning accuracy of <0.5%, fast testing speed, and long battery life.

BIS Introduction
The Broadband Impedance Spectrum (BIS) method was developed to address the shortcomings of traditional time-domain reflection (TDR) in locating subtle local defects in cables. This portable instrument, equipped with a rechargeable battery, is a non-destructive testing system. Through the combination of self-developed CBIS testing software and hardware, the system exhibits high sensitivity and accuracy in identifying local defects and intermediate joints in cables, with a location error of <0.6%. Employing frequency domain measurement principles, it detects the reflection of an incident signal (a sinusoidal linear sweep signal with a fixed frequency step) at the impedance discontinuity. By analyzing the reflected wave (or a standing wave composed of the incident and reflected waves) at the transmitting end and calculating the location of the impedance discontinuity based on the cable's propagation speed, the system can effectively address these issues .
